Man-Size-in-Marble is a ghost story set around Halloween. It is about a young married couple who rent a pretty cottage in the countryside.
A local woman, Mrs Dorman, cooks and cleans for them. Near the cottage there is beautiful church.
Inside, the church was dark and gloomy. On each side of the aisle there was a grey marble statue of a knight. ‘Mrs. Dorman says that they should not be here,’ Laura told me.
- What do you think might be the story behind the marble knights?
The story takes place in late October, in the period leading up to Halloween.
